WBTA kicked off the 2016-17 racing season at Werribee racecourse with a fundraising ladies’ day luncheon which included fashions on the field and a race meeting.
Tonia Tribe (WBTA Chairperson) stated that the event, which raised money for a new critical care unit at Werribee Mercy Hospital, is Werribee’s answer to Oaks Day.
Funds raised to date for the Critical Care Unit at Werribee Mercy Health via Spring Fashion Carnival & Ladies Day Luncheon total $4965.00.
