Dear Business Owners/Managers
On behalf of the Events and Promotions Committee of the Wyndham Business and Tourism Association (WBTA) I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and your business for your support in 2017.
We have had a fun year bringing you some terrific events, and we have been really fortunate to have been very well supported by the local business community.
In July we held the inaugural Winter Wonderland Ball, and as a result of this event we were able to raise $7,065 for the Werribee Mercy Hospital Critical Care Ward fundraising campaign. This event was considered an overwhelming success, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. We had fantastic support from sponsors Werribee Nissan and Mantello Lawyers (GOLD) The Park Hotel and YPA (SILVER) and Gift Givers Gallery, Tonia T Boutique, Rate One Home Loans, Danceman Promotions and My Job is Your Accounts (BRONZE) as well as all of those who donated product and/or services for the auction.
In October we held the 3rd Spring Fashion Carnival, and as a result of this event we were able to raise $2760 for Uniting Wyndham (formerly Werribee Support and Housing) who do fabulous work in our community helping those less fortunate with housing, food and educational assistance.
Rob Westwood from Westwood First National was our MC and auctioneer once again, and due to the generosity of local businesses such as yours, the auction raised good $$$ for this organisation. Everyone on the Events and Promotions Committee, and on the board of the WBTA, is very grateful and appreciative of your continued support and generosity.
